The Viggiano’s harp is a popular harp, of which we have news date back to 1700, strictly linked to territory, a small Basilicata village set in Val D’Agri, Potenza province. At Viggiano, the harp was a very commond instrument, so that the municipality archives prove that in one family out of three there was a harp musician.
