Today our focus is connected with two typical dances of the popular tradition. Through the italian popular muscic we go searching dances that live still today most of all in the tuscan and foreign communities: the Venetian and the Monferrina. The Monferrina, named also Manfrina, was characterized by a circle in which the dancers’ couples got closer and traded places. The Venetian, also in circle, was characterized by courting steps and movements.
