At Piemonte d'Istria it was inaugurated a popular music museum

A new popular music instruments was inaugurated at Piemonte d'Istria. The creator and curator of the initiative started on Saturday 9 April is Walter Macovaz.

It was born from luthier Macovaz's will and from the Grisignana's municipality's availability, that makes a place available at Piemonte d'Istria. The museum gathers instruments used in the istro-venetian popular tradition, among which violins, bajs, harmonicas, accordions, clarinets, trombone- but also cultured music's instruments and from middle europe's area, from fortepiani, to zymbalon, to various guitars. Above from the exposition it's expected a space for stringed instruments' laboratory with work benches and historical tools for the woods' manufacturing.
