An Indian tour for Kalascima

It will start on Friday 8 April the Indian tour of Kalascima, the innovative italian band that brings the popular music from Salento out of revival and from the farmyards' ballads to project it in the modernity, "regenerating" it trough technology.

The first stage is in the capital, New Dehli, at the India International Centre, to move then the following day to Jaipur. They will restart on April 14 with a concert in Chennai, followed by Bengaluru.

Attivo da oltre 15 anni, il gruppo offre un repertorio neo folk urbano, nel quale i ricordi di una civilta' contadina ormai travolta dalle estetiche contemporanee dialoga con i suoni e i rumori che ci avvolgono nella quotidianita' degli anni 2000.

Forti dei due dischi pubblicati "Santa Maria del Foggiaro" e "Psychedelic Trance Tarantella", i Kalascima sono uno dei gruppi storici presenti a "La Notte della Taranta Festival".
